If I start today in a challenge imposed onto myself to write 2,045 words a day, I will hit 90,000 words by May 1st. I am not sure if I’ll need this many, or need more, but seeing as my WIP is not really fantasy heavy I should be able to tell the story in this general word count.
I haven’t had so much devotion to a project like this maybe ever, and this is the first time since before college that I could honestly imagine myself having a complete draft in the foreseeable future. I hope to get through at least 2 drafts by the end of the summer, meaning an edited second draft by winter time.
